      Reggie feels the stress of pretending to be Martin Wellborn and begins acting strangely again.

      Reggie's true identity revealed. Sacked by Sunshine Desserts. Working at pig farm.

      Reggie tries positions at a pig farm, as a househusband, and as a real estate agent while worrying that Elizabeth is having an affair at her new job.

    10. "Jimmy's Offer"

      Reggie working at pig farm. Elizabeth at Sunshine Desserts. Reggie suspects Elizabeth of affair with C.J.

      Reggie loses his job at the pig farm after punching Tony and confronting C.J., and Elizabeth gets fed up with Sunshine Desserts, so they decide to find something they can earn a living at together.

    11. "The Unusual Shop"

      A bored Reggie tries to destroy his Grot empire by hiring people completely unsuited for their new jobs, but the whole thing follows the usual Grot logic.

      Reggie tries to sabotage the company by giving confusing exclusive interviews to three different television programs, by kissing Joan in front of Elizabeth, and dressing up in ladies' clothing, all to no avail.

    15. "The Great Project"

      Reggie and Elizabeth give up everything and are reborn as the Gossamers. They immediately tire of their new life, so Reggie creates Perrin's, "a community where the middle aged and middle class can learn to live in peace and love and happiness."
