A worker and two runaways in demolished building; meanwhile, an injured man is trapped in theatre scaffolding while a play continues beneath him. Sootie is attracted to the new cleaning lady.

Mickey temporarily runs the squad. Georgia is put on restricted duties at the station after she decides to give priority to the rescue of a criminal trapped in a wrecked police car.

2nd Series 1992

A police officer-cum-football star transfers into Rescue. The retired Inspector who helped create the Rescue squad is helping write a history of the service, which creates political difficulties for Adams.

The squad responds to a train crash. Mickey works in the compartment where a critically injured man hides his injuries to encourage the other passengers.

Georgia becomes increasingly suspicious of the circumstances surrounding an apparently straightforward car crash. A homeowner finds a runaway camping on public land and tries to have Rescue run him off.

Mickey is assigned to protect a whistleblower prior to her testimony in a court case.

Frog must face a coroner's inquest when a child is killed during a rescue. Later, Frog and Kathy respond to a house where a man has killed his family and later kills himself. Frog and Mickey respond to a call where a boy has fallen down a ravine.

Sydney gets excited over the Grand Final football match. Mickey, Georgia, and Brian attend an MVA, which becomes complicated by unknown chemicals, a drug squad stakeout, and a man trapped in a truck who cheerfully refuses to be rescued.

Kathy refuses to deal with her emotions after tragedy strikes her family. Angel has to deal with Con, who is getting into increasing trouble. A man is trapped in a sugar silo.

After two youths crash a stolen plane, Mickey finds himself being sued by the owner of the plane -- the father of one of the kids.

Mickey agrees to be Angel's best man. They rescue an artist who is obsessed with his wife's "affairs" and who has decided to kill both himself and his family.

Angel and Helena tie the knot. Nipper voices his doubts that Brian will ever become an integrated member of the squad. He also has to deal with harassment from a recently released criminal who bears a grudge.

Angel becomes convinced that Helena is having an affair and begins losing control, both at home and at work. Teenage lovers threaten to jump off a bridge. Inspector Adams finds a pamphlet on "unplanned pregnancy" in Sharyn's desk. Georgia and David discuss having children.

Mickey and Mellick go on a TV show after being involved in a high profile rescue. Georgia has a close call on a rescue and makes an important decision.

The squad is called out to help rescue archeologists who have been trapped in a flooding cave system. During the search, Mickey is also lost as the floodwaters continue to rise.

3rd Series 1993

When Inspectors Adams answers a telephone call from a little girl, it turns out to be much more than he bargained for.

A hysterical woman insists that her husband is lost and injured in the woods. When the police learn that he had been threatening to leave her, they call off the search.

Angel and Mickey protect a bookie. Angel discovers the temptation of easy money when he gets some tips on picking winning racehorses.

Newly promoted Georgia is seconded to a policy task force; among the items on their agenda: the end of the Rescue Squad.

During a rescue, Angel and Kathy are accidentally contaminated with radiation poisoning. While they deal with the after-effects, the squad searches for a radioactive tin picked up by a small boy.

Brian is duped by an old friend of Nipper's.

A senile woman and then two children become lost in train tunnels during rush hour; stopped commuters trapped in the trains are subject to panic.

Mickey is concerned when three friends of Luke's die of drug-related problems. Angel gives Mickey advice on raising children.

After an earthquake, Nipper is trapped in a lift with four other people. The rescue is complicated when the counterweight breaks free and endangers the lift.

A hang-glider pilot who turns out to live life too close to the edge sweeps up Kathy. Brian confesses his crush to Kathy.

Feeling under-appreciated, Angel decides to leave Rescue. Mickey rescues some people from a stuck ferris wheel. Mickey and Georgia are called to rescue a pair of climbers from a cliff.

Angel and Mickey rescue a man being chased by two police officers. When the man turns up dead 43 minutes later, they suspect the cops.

Mickey father suffers a heart attack. Mickey negotiates with bank robbers to free hostages during a bank robbery.

4th Series 1994

Rescue is called to support a siege in Chatsworth, where a doped-up and frustrated bank robber has just killed a police officer and is holding over a dozen people hostage, and where an over-eager reporter complicates things by revealing on-air that one of the hostages is Nipper's wife.

Mickey and Nipper help the survivors of a bus crash. Mickey is determined to prove the bus driver is not at fault and Nipper decides to foster a boy orphaned in the crash.

Sergeant Webb arrives in Rescue and must deal with personal demons and professional problems. Angel shows signs of stress, both on and off the job.

After he helps Angel on a rescue, Angel befriends a small boy who decides to hook Angel up with his mother. Brian is concerned about an old man who is apparently seeking attention.

A natural gas explosion leaves three people trapped two stories under ground. After the squad is trapped with them, cyanide gas starts leaking into the cellar.

After rescuing a child left alone by a single mother, Georgia decides to give the mother a second chance and doesn't report the violation to family services. When the mother is picked up for theft, the children hide in a train yard.

Kathy sits with a dying man and then tries to pass his last messages on to his wife shortly after the accident. Georgia revives a drowned swimmer who remains in a coma.

Called to prevent two suicides, the squad helps arrest two base jumpers. Later, Mickey tries skydiving with them. A man tries to obtain an accident report about an unsafe factory from Georgia.

An old friend of Angel's is having financial difficulties.

Faulty wiring prematurely sets off explosions while Rescue tries to free workers trapped in an abandoned plant scheduled for demolition.

Georgia helps the daughter of an old friend deal with her brother's death. Angel learns more about his father.

When Mickey kills a man during a robbery, the thief's brother targets Mickey for revenge.

5th Series 1995

Three recruits compete for the two open spots on the squad.

Mickey tries to get an old fisherman to stop fishing in a dangerous location; later, Mickey suffers a panic attack. At school, Luke stands up to the school bullies.

New Rescue member Joe makes several mistakes on the job.

The search for the survivors of a small plane crash is complicated when Angel becomes lost as well.

Working to save injured crewmen on a ship, the rescue is complicated by the threat of additional explosions and a man who is not what he seems.

Georgia and an expert mountain climber work to rescue a brother and sister whom are trapped on a cliff.

Sydney's entire police force is mobilized to search for a kidnapped child. Georgia is faced with an important decision.

Angel and Tracy respond to a car accident with tragic consequences.

Georgia, Mickey and Angel make some decisions.
