They have all, too, accumulated semi-celebrity status as a hip-hop band, but are content struggling to keep their lives status quo, as opposed to working hard to cross the threshold into fame and fortune. With bigger than life characters and clever musical devices, it promises broad comedy with clever social observation. "On the verge of signing a record deal with an almost major label, childhood friends Scott, Dennis and Randy, better known as rap music group Shasta McNasty, spend their days laughing and lounging in a "phat" loft near the boardwalk of Venice Beach.
