The Enterprise is delivering supplies to Robert and Nancy Crater, but all is not as it seems. Soon crewmen are being killed and drained of their salt content. A shape-shifting entity is the culprit and selects McCoy as it's next disguise!

The Antares cargo ship eagerly drops of Charlie Evans, a young survivor of an earlier shipwreck. Charlie's lack of maturity coupled with unlimited mental powers soon begins to wreak havoc on the Starship.

When the Enterprise encounters an energy force, Gary Mitchell exhibits enhanced mental capabilities and begins to think himself a god. Whilst the damaged Enterprise enters orbit around Delta Vega to attempt repairs, Kirk endeavors to maroon and then destroy Mitchell.

Scientists the Enterprise intends to pick up are found frozen dead. A disease spreads to the Enterprise crew causing loss of inhibitions and delirium. Lt. Riley locks himself in the engine room and disables the engines. Can Spock and McCoy find a cure before they succumb or the ship hurtles into the planet's atmosphere?

Kirk beams up from a landing party. A transporter malfunction produces an evil Kirk twin, who proceeds to run amok on the Enterprise. A creature beamed up from the planet's surface is similarly duplicated and dies shortly. The rest of the landing party, including Sulu, are stranded in freezing conditions whilst the Enterprise crew must decide who is the Captain and keep both alive.

In helping a doomed ship, the Enterprise beams aboard Harry Mudd and three delectable ladies. The effort of the rescue requires the Enterprise to replenish it's stock of Dilithium Crystals. The three ladies are intended as wives for miners. Kirk finds himself having to trade the women for crystals...and with the additional problem that "All that glitters is not gold".

Checking on the fate of Dr. Roger Korby, Kirk finds him determined to spread his custom made androids throughout the galaxy, and to this end, aided by the hulking Ruk, creates a duplicate Kirk to take over the starship.

On an Earthlike planet, the Enterprise crew discovers a society of children, where aging equals madness and death from disease. Can a cure be found before the landing party are stricken or destroyed by the children who regard them as misfits?

A curious glowing cube ship interferes with the Enterprise's progress, ultimately causing Kirk to destroy it. When an even larger alien craft arrives and threatens to destroy the Enterprise, Kirk resorts to the Corbomite Maneuver, a bluff.

A large white rabbit is the first manifestation of a planet where the Enterprise crew's very thoughts can become lethal reality.

Spock has to return to Vulcan, his home world, to complete the "pon farr" a Vulcan mating ritual. T'Pring, Spock's pre-ordained mate, has made overtures to another, Stonn. To settle this, a ritual combat is to be performed between Spock and T'Pring's champion. Instead of Stonn, T'Pring selects Kirk as her champion. Kirk agrees only to find that the combat is with weapons and to the death!

When a landing party consisting of Kirk, McCoy, Scotty and Uhuru beam back to the Enterprise during an ion storm, they find themselves in a barbaric parallel universe, where each officer has henchmen and assassination is merely a method for achieving a promotion. Can the four remain alive and undetected and return to their own dimension?

Kirk, Spock and McCoy beam down to Pyris VII to determine what became of Scotty and Sulu after a third member of their landing party came back dead.
