A tabloid reporter has committed suicide, or has he? Lt. Columbo doesn't think so, and he matches wits with a rave promoter who is about to open a big time club. Things get more interesting when Columbo discovers that the missing son of a New York mobster was bank rolling the big time club and was married to a woman that the tabloid reporter was watching. All he needs to do is put the woman together with the promoter to discover the truth.
