A teenage girl from the year 3000 is kidnapped by a criminal from the year 2500 and brought back in time to 1990, where she befriends a local girl who helps her adapt to a time unfamiliar to her and then helps her to return to her own time, but then she finds that history has been changed and she must journey back to 2500 to fix it.
