After being brought together to protect a Native American village from renegade former Confederate soldiers after the end of the American Civil War, seven men (an infamous gunslinger, an ex-bounty hunter, a smooth-talking con artist, an eager easterner, a womanizing gunman, a freed slave turned healer, and a former preacher seeking penance) stay as on lawmen in a young town that is continually under threat from lawless elements. Based on the 1960 film about a Mexican village menaced by bandits.
