Only time will tell if this series becomes Britain's worst-ever sitcom. While it may have seemed like a good idea to remake a popular US series set in the once-again-trendy 1970s, the results were disastrous. The producers appeared more interested in making a direct copy of That '70s Show rather than making their own comedy. The cast looks almost identical to their American counterparts. The title sequence, animation and special effects were copied almost exactly. Unfortunately, the humor didn't translate.

Eric and his friends go to a Cockney Rebel concert in London.

In the American version, the kids go to a Todd Rundgren concert.This episode begins on 17 May 76 and the kids are watching a Sarah Jane Smith/Dalek Doctor Who episode. The only episode that qualifies is "Genesis of the Daleks" which was repeated 27 Dec 75. Did the Formans have Britain's first VCR? (Ed. note: No. It's a mistake.)
It's Eric's birthday and his parents throw him a party against his will.
b: 19 Feb 99 s: Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner NOTE: This is a remake of Eric's Birthday.Prince Charles comes to town and Eric and his friend's plan to streak at the rally. They all chicken out except Eric.
b: 26 Feb 99 s: Eric Gilliland NOTE: This is a remake of Streaking. In the American version, President Ford visits Eric's high school.The kids decide to go to a disco but Dylan doesn't know how to dance so Mrs. Forman teaches him to dance. Mr. Palmer walks in on them in a compromising position and believes they're having an affair. Michael gets jealous of Torbjorn because he thinks he's putting the moves on Jackie.
b: 5 Mar 99 s: Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner NOTE: This is a remake of That Disco Episode.Eric and Donna go to the pictures. Eric doesn't want Michael and Jackie to go because they'd be competition but Donna invites them anyway. s Torbjorn's house parents think he's listening to the devil's music (an Ozzy Osborne album). Ron and Kitty spend the evening out and almost get arrested.
b: 19 Mar 99 s: Mark Hudis NOTE: This is a remake of Drive In.Ron's mother visits for a peaceful Sunday afternoon at the Forman household.
b: 26 Mar 99 s: Linda Wallen NOTE: This is a remake of Sunday, Bloody Sunday.While driving grandma home Eric tells her why he doesn't like it when she visits. She doesn't take too kindly to this because she drops dead. Also Eric gets in a bar fight.
b: 2 Jun 99 s: Arthur F. Montmorency NOTE: This is a remake of Grandma's Dead which didn't air until 5 weeks after its British counterpart.When Eric scratches the car, Ron suspends his driving privileges s the gang has to walk everywhere. That is until Michael's cousin lends him a car. They get arrested though because the car was reported stolen. With one phone call Michael calls Jackie and she tells him that she'll have sex with him once he gets out of prison. The whole incident was a mix-up and the gang is released.
b: 9 Jun 99 s: Mark Hudis NOTE: This is a remake of Stolen Car.Jackie thinks she might be pregnant, when Michael finds out he passes out. When Midge finds out she puts Donna on the pill. Bob doesn't know Donna's on the pill until he picks them up at the pharmacy, while Eric is there. Jackie ends up not being pregnant which makes Michael the happiest guy in the world. She also stuns everyone when she breaks up with Michael.
b: 16 Jun 99 s: Linda Wallem NOTE: This is a remake of The Pill.Eric doesn't feel like a man when he loses a game of basketball to Donna. Ron seems to want to fix everything that doesn't need fixing.
b: 14 Jul 99 s: Joshua Sternin, Jeffrey Ventimilia NOTE: This is a remake of Battle of the Sexists.b: UNAIRED s: Mark Brazill NOTE: Originally aired in repeats on ITV1 3 Jan 02. This is a remake of Eric's Burger Job.
Helen comes home for her birthday with a friend, Kate. Eric and Kate kiss, and he can't help but tell Donna. She's furious but eventually forgives him. Also Kitty is annoyed by Ron's mother who won't stop calling her and then decides not to come to the birthday party.
b: UNAIRED s: Jeff Fligo & Jackie Behan NOTE: Originally aired in repeats on ITV1 10 Jan 02. This is a remake of Thanksgiving. Grandma's phone calls suggest that this episode should have aired before episode 7.Eric spends time with fellow student Adam Dunlop, who has a Lotus Elan. It takes Eric far longer to realise Adam is gay than it does his friends.
